Gloria Yoder's Seasoned Crackers


1 pound saltine crackers
1 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons cheddar-cheese powder
1 cup sour cream mixed with one tablespoon onion powder (or ranch powder)
2 tablespoons chicken soup base

Pour crackers into a large mixing bowl.
Mix remaining ingredients together.
Pour mixture over crackers and stir well.
Bake twenty minutes at 250, stirring several times.

Spicy Party Crackers


1 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch Dry Mix
1 ½ Tbs Red Pepper
1 ½ cups Canola Oil
3-4 sleeves of Saltine Crackers (I use 4)

Use large mixing bowl with lid
Mix first three ingredients in separate small bowl
Pour over crackers and stir gently covering crackers
Flip bowl back and forth every 30 min until crackers are covered
