E:\LETTERS\DARR2016.TXT Notes to be re-written and printed out: 25 August 2016 Numb patch on left thigh is larger and more frankly numb than before the incident at Easter. It still activates when I stand motionless for too long, but I don't notice it when walking. How often can that six-day treatment be taken without undue risk? I'm pretty much back to normal, but the back complains for a few days after I get very tired. I want a heavy-duty walker to keep in the closet. Woman at the Pillbox said that they differ only by wheel size, paint color, and basket style. Has Dave acquired a handicap card? ----------------------------------------------------------- Can I have ninety days of pills instead of thirty? ----------------------------------------------------------- Probably nothing: I had almost a week of draggies in August: tired all the time, loss of appetite, slightly-elevated temperature. No cold symptoms. Riding to Mentone and back on the third was thirty-five miles where my previous best was twenty-two. I walked a lot of hills, but felt "not all that beat" after a shower. Felt it in the back for a few days. (I really should take aspirin for the inflammation, but I'm accustomed to ignoring pain and never think of it.) Got exhausted activating my new phone on the sixth. I also needed a long nap after a picnic that afternoon. The draggies didn't start until the thirteenth, so I don't think any of the above were related, unless fatigue set me up to catch a bug. The draggies were still there on the sixteenth, but only sign on the seventeeth was that my stomach felt a little off while I was riding to the dentist, and I realized later that I hadn't had my omeprazole. -----------------------------------------------------------
